About US
Green Enterprise is UK social enterprise operating in Kenya. Our mission is to use technology to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neural, climate resilient world by mobilising a generation of green change-makers. We envision a future in which the gig economy is a valuable tool that feeds rural farmers and keeps our global food system afloat, not merely a gizmo that delivers food to our doorsteps.
For service providers who need to improve their delivery mechanisms our product Opus™is a workflow management interface that makes delivery efficient, scalable, and transparent. Unlike current approaches, we transform projects into task-based work that can be outsourced to local stakeholders, including women and youth.
No oversight: NGOs and Government Agencies cannot remotely monitor agents’ work and are kept in the dark. Private sector engagement is hampered by insufficient reporting.
No central marketplace: farmers cannot connect with agents online and must travel for hours to get support. Difficulty financing services due to lack of accountability.
Facilitation barriers: Inefficient management of local qualified talent preventing agents to adequately support farmers. Missed opportunities to target youth and women for employment.
